We are seeking a Finance Manager to join a project-based environment, based in the Greater Southampton area.

As the Finance Manager, you will lead a small team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout all areas of accounts. If if you like the thought of improving reporting and making a difference to the bottom line for a growing company, this may be the role for you!

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• The day-to-day management of a small team
• Overseeing and improving month end management packs
• Production of monthly P&L, quarterly forecasts, and variance analysis reporting
• Ensuring the ledgers balance at month end and reports produced by the team are accurate
• Assisting Finance Director with strategic support with company vision
• Stakeholder engagement, working with commercial teams to analyse cost

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• To be qualified in ACCA / CIMA / ACA  
• Previous experience in a similar role, such as: Finance Manager / Financial Controller / Senior Management Accountant / Company Accountant
• Strong understanding of Excel
