Our client is seeking a meticulous and motivated Account Assistant to join their team in Chessington. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about accounting and have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Process invoices, receipts, and manage financial documentation.
- Assist with reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate with various departments and handle queries as needed.
- A basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and Payroll
- High level of accuracy and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Previous experience in an accounting role is advantageous but not essential
