Job Description

We are thrilled to be collaborating with a leading B-Corp fashion retailer to recruit an Accountant. This role offers the chance to play a pivotal role in the company's financial operations, covering critical aspects of transactional finance, month-end processes, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable records.
• Prepare payment runs and reconcile vendor statements.
• Drive departmental actions by reviewing open Purchase Orders.
• Lead credit control efforts for B2B sales channels.
• Reconcile customer statements to ensure account accuracy.
• Collaborate with the operations team on invoicing, credit notes, and customer relationship management.
• Prepare and post monthly journals, including accruals and prepayments.
• Support inter-company transactions and VAT processes.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure best practices are followed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable.
• Retail or e-commerce platform experience is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Excel is essential; familiarity with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to thrive in a small finance team.
• Experience handling high volumes of transactional data.
