Key duties & responsibilities for the Production & Stock Control Administrator include:
Entering production data onto the in house database
Maintaining MS Excel spreadsheets with daily production figures
Checking availability of stock against orders
Preparing paperwork for production, scrap reports, quality checks, timesheets
Gathering status updates for orders
Collating delivery documents
Conducting physical stock checks on all product lines, inputting data into stock control database
Daily communications between Sales, Production, Transport, the Factory, and Accounts Department as well as external customers.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous office based administration experience Experience of working within a production/ stock/ warehouse/ manufacturing/ logistics based environment ideally Excellent numeracy skills Grade C or above in GCSE Maths or equivalent Good IT skills with working knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel & Outlook) Confident communication skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service Ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines Strong problem solving skills with ability to use own initiative Ability to multitask and prioritise a varied workload Own transport (due to office location)
