Your new role
The current position we are recruiting for is a Finance Officer, where you will be focusing on Payroll. The role will involve you collecting, calculating and entering data onto Sage Payroll, updating payroll journals and processing starters/leavers, holiday and sick pay. You will issue P45's and will calculate and prepare annual P11D returns. You will also be involved with processing purchase and sales invoices and will reconcile bank accounts.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have Sage Payroll experience and strong Microsoft Excel skills, whilst coming from a payroll background. It would be beneficial if you have pension legislation, tax and NI deductions, salary sacrifice scheme and sickness processing experience. You should be comfortable at performing the entire payroll process from start to finish and will have worked in a busy finance department.
