Job Description

Finance plays a key role across all aspects of our business. Working within the Finance department you will be given the opportunity to gain an understanding in all areas of the Finance function, including:

• Preparation of key management information, including management accounts, half year and year end reporting.
• Budgeting & Forecasting – assisting the delivery our business plans.
• Cashflow management, reporting and forecasting.
• Costing and supplier management.
• Sales revenues reporting.
• Valuations – working with the Commercial, Sales & Construction departments to ensure our developments are thoroughly understood and appraised.
• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis – providing information which can be utilised to make key strategic decisions.
• Process improvement initiatives.

An overview of the programme is as follows:

• Successful candidates will attend a 3 day residential induction programme where you will be given the opportunity to learn more about the business, the 2 year programme and meet the other graduates.
• You will spend time working within key areas of the business including construction, sales, commercial/technical, land and finance.
• Over the course of the programme you will attend ‘skills camps’ and work on projects with your fellow graduates that provide ongoing development and support.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

2:2 degree (or above) in BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance, BSc (Hons) Business Accounting, BSc (Hons) Accountancy, BSc (Hons) Business Finance or similar Willing to travel around the UK and stay away from home for short periods of time Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business In order to be considered for this programme you must be able to prove eligibility to work in the UK
