Job Description

What you’ll do

As an Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Company complies with HMRC and other requirements in the course of providing pension scheme administration services and meeting its duty of care obligations as a trustee. In addition, you will provide administrative support to the SIPP Teams and maintaining a high-quality service for the Company’s Clients.

You will operate our specialist SIPP processes as instructed by our white label partners and clients, across a wide range of scheme and investment types. You will also ensure that the Company policies and procedures are adhered to in line with Company and regulatory standards, and escalating issues where necessary.

Key Accountabilities

  • Undertaking EBS’s payroll using SIPP~PRO
  • Assisting issuing SIPP annual Reviews
  • Dealing with our white label business partners in a professional, courteous and friendly manor
  • Updating of SIPP~PRO with bank transactions and completing monthly reconciliations
  • Allocation of tax to clients and updating SIPP~PRO
  • Writing out to obtain funds for income
  • Dealing with new SIPP setups and entering details onto SIPP~PRO
  • Updating SSIPP~PRO with investment purchases and sales
  • Writing out for valuations for GAD reviews for SIPP
  • Completing of contribution certificates and cancellation notices for SIPPs
  • Administering SIPP schemes along the pension life-cycle including valuation, scheme returns, payment of pension benefits, transfers in and out of scheme
  • Completing annual statements, pre-retirement letters and chasers
  • Using Work log to ensure timely work flow
  • Keeping up to date with current HMRC/FCA regulations
  • Providing support to rest of the team where needed
  • Managing and maintaining all data, and retaining documentation pertaining to SIPP administration of any kind
  • Promoting awareness of Anti-Money Laundering Rules and to ensure compliance within the Department.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Comparable experience in a regulated pensions environment, ideally administering SIPPs Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent PC skills including Word and Excel Organised and self-driven with ability to adapt to fast changing environment Knowledge of pension payroll Knowledge of CASS client money rules. Technical and client / adviser communications: communicate at all levels the details and complexities of SIPPs Communications (verbal and written) are clear, articulate, straightforward, with accurate overview of the issue, question or complaint and reasoning behind the response
