The College has an opportunity for an Administration Officer to join the support staff team. The Front Office is the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors, deliveries, post etc., and as such, it is of paramount importance that a professional appearance and demeanor is maintained.
No two days are ever the same; the team provides invaluable support all across the College and can be asked to assist with a multitude of tasks. There are high levels of trust placed in the work that the Front Office delivers, and the team works to high standards therefore candidates must be dependable, reliable, organized, accurate and adhere to confidentiality.
Mornings are generally the busiest time of the College day, with many visits to the office by students/staff/visitors, as well as many phone calls, so somebody who is adept at being able to switch between tasks will thrive in this role. There are generally a lot of metaphorical plates spinning at once, so a cool, calm and collected manner as well as a positive, friendly and sunny disposition will go a long way to protect the spirit of the whole team. Some situations may be more difficult in nature to deal with than others, and so compassion and resilience are also key attributes of the successful candidate.
