The Grants Analyst analyzes; reviews; evaluates and audits the compliance, integrity, credibility, accuracy, and accountability of Grants
Management operations. Employees provide expert and/or technical counsel to management and staff as needed regarding procedures and
statutory requirements.
Partner with project teams to ensure studies are accurately reconciled in a timely manner
Audit Investigator payment, budget and/or contract reports to ensure completeness and accuracy to support
accurate transparency and management reporting
Provide Help Desk support regarding payment exceptions
Partner with other members of the Investigator Grants Management team to test assigned reports preparing Investigator payment reports, monitoring Investigator payment actions, maintaining records, and/or analyzing data.
Performs routine reconciliations.
Uses problem solving, fact finding, and analysis skills to identify routine payment or budget risks.
Present analysis to internal teams and sponsors to give financial overview of studies
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent Experience in providing outstanding customer service and maintaining professionalism with internal and external parties. Demonstrates organizational skills and attention to detail Demonstrated experience performing financial reconciliations. Demonstrates effective time management skills Demonstrates a positive and flexible attitude Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Experienced with Microsoft Office products Especially Microsoft Excel & Access Articulate and professional, and communicates in a clear and positive fashion. Read, write and speak fluent English;
