Job Description
My client is able to offer a salary of of £26,000 to £30,000 per annum for the successful candidate.
Main duties will include -
- Developing and managing financial management systems and policies.
- Ensuring the effective financial management of company money.
- Making financial decisions and advising key company individuals using financial management information.
- Controlling all aspects of Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
- Controlling all Petty Cash receipts and making sure the petty cash balances.
- Preparing and monitoring budgets and accounts and presenting to the board and / or management team.
- Controlling expenditure and cash flow.
- Preparing reports on annual accounts and budget information for supporting the general Manager & auditors.
- Conducting internal audits, i.e. working on wage reviews, stock takes.
- Examining financial records and statements and checking them for accuracy.
- Management of Payroll and paying of staff salaries.
- Keep up-to-date with HMRC policies on tax.
- Sourcing and managing credit ratings for potential or current customers through communication with Sales dept / Factoring company.
- Develop and review direct report staff.
This role will suit an AAT qualified / studier or an exceptional QBE. You will have experience of SAGE 50 as well as SAGE Payroll.
Hours of work are below but there is flexibility on start or end times for the right candidate -
