Job Description

The ideal candidate will be an excellent team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. In exchange the client offers extensive training and support throughout this position.

Within this position, you’ll also be:

  • Working with other accounts team members to process purchase and sales invoices
  • Preparing Journals ready for posting into the system
  • Coding, logging and batching invoices ready for payment
  • Preparing the payment run
  • Carrying out daily reconciliations on all balance sheet control accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of the month end reporting

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £18,000 - £20,000

Working hours are Monday – Friday, 35 hours a week

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
An AAT or have recently completed your Accounting & Finance Degree Some, if only a little experience in an accounts based position Competent in Excel and Microsoft packages Methodical with good attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines
