Your new role
As a Semi Senior within this firm you will be working as part of a team to service the requirements of a portfolio of corporate clients from industries such as manufacturing, property and construction as well as supply chain and many others. Your role will consist of assisting on audits, predominantly in the local area but some further afield, as well as preparation of statutory accounts, corporate and personal tax returns.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you must have worked within an accountancy practice previously and be able to produce a set of accounts relatively autonomously. You should be up to date with current UK tax legislation and be keen and eager to expand your knowledge on the audit front. Some audit jobs will require away stays and so you must be prepared to undertake this as part of the role. Experience using cloud based IT systems such as Sage and Xero will be looked upon favourably as well knowledge of IRIS however this isn't essential.

You will work a 37.5 hour week between 08:30 - 17:00 with an hour for lunch however the firm do offer flexible working and are currently working from both home and the office.You will be entitled to 28 days holiday which increases on an annual basis by a day (up to 25) and you will enrolled onto the company pension scheme which currently contributes 8%..
