• Bookkeeping duties including purchase and sales ledger processing and journal posting
• Preparing VAT returns
• Assisting with self assessment tax returns
• Liaising with clients and resolving queries
• Working closely with qualified accountants to assist with high value client accounts
• Working to strict deadlines
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• 1 to 2 years experience within a Practice bookkeeping/accounts role • Strong communication skills • Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping is desirable • Knowledge of financial IT systems The ideal candidate will have 1- 2 years experience in a small to medium sized practice and have experience producing accounts for a variety of clients. The role will involve transactional bookkeeping duties and VAT return processing.
