Job Description

The successful Payroll Administrator will;

  • Process a weekly payroll from start to finish across multiple sites
  • Process starters and leavers
  • Process SMP, SPP, SSP and Occupational sick pay
  • Process pay in accordance with various National Agreements
  • Calculate Redundancy payments
  • Distribution of pay slips
  • Production of P45's
  • Liaise with sites and other departments to ensure communication lines are clear and deadlines are met
  • Deal promptly and professionally with payroll queries
  • Complete correspondence within the agreed SLA timeframe
  • Produce reports for various departments
  • Maintain records and filing to a high standard
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of payroll and pension legislation
  • Follow and enforce implemented payroll policy, processes and procedures

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum of 2 year experience Experience of large / high contractor turn over environments Preferably studying CIPP Experienced in Microsoft packages Able to work as part of a team and stand alone Willing to learn Great attitude towards work
