Job Description

A well-established, independent accountancy practice based in the Wirral, is currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their accounting team.  The role is due to growth and is offered on a permanent, full time basis.
 
Working with a busy team with a wide variety of clients, you will take responsibility for:
 
·Completing Vat returns
·Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
·Bank reconciliations and posting bank transactions
·Ensuring work is completed in a timely manner
·Liaising with clients in a professional manner
·Covering for the payroll manager one day a week and for holidays

Essential Requirements:
·Experience gained in a similar role within accountancy practice
·AAT qualified preferred, but not essential
·Strong organisational and communication skills
