The Role:
Working in a specialist compliance role you will have an overarching responsibility over the office’s regulatory requirements. This will involve Call monitoring, providing client file reviews and audits to ensure sales are fully compliant.
Developing and maintaining policies, processes, registers and MI reports. Delivering regulatory training and improving standards across the office. You will also be involved with complaints Handling, escalated matters and GDPR related issues.
Liaising with all levels of the business to ensure there is a complete understanding of compliance processes, such as embedding the principles of TCF. Building and maintaining strong stakeholder management relationships.
This is an exciting role within a growing company which could lead to more senior opportunities becoming available.
The Required Skills:
Experience within the insurance sector is essential ideally involving responsibilities surrounding compliance
Preferably knowledge of FCA regulated environment with a strong understanding of the FCA handbook, especially ICOBS, TCF, DPA, GDPR, Financial Promotions, Consumer Credit and Complaints
Commercial Insurance experience and knowledge is preferable
The ability to coach and mentor with good communication and listening skills
