Job Description

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of all employee issues
  • Keeping payroll system and HR files up to date
  • Manage all recruitment: writing job adverts, advertising, interviewing and issuing offer packs
  • Manage all employee relations issues of all levels of complexity
  • Absence management and monitoring attendance
  • Co-ordinate all disciplinary/grievance processes to ensure correct procedures are followed and appropriate outcomes reached
  • Write and implement policies in line with business need, legislation or customer/industry requirement
  • Working closely with the training school to meet the organisations requirements
  • Managing future organisational restructure including TUPE

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proven HR management experience Up to date with employment law, ideally in the construction industry Knowledge of legislation of employing workers internationally preferred CIPD qualification of a minimum level 7 Confidentiality and discretion Strong communication skills Great organisational ability and attention to detail Able to juggle an ever-changing workload and adapt to priorities Experienced user of Microsoft office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook Confident and capable of working effectively as part of a busy team
