Job Description

We want the right people to join our Housing and Pollution team to undertake a range of work including private sector housing enforcement, HMO licensing, environmental control/ monitoring, including associated licensing/ permitting, private water supplies monitoring and enforcement (domestic premises)

caravan site licensing, mobile homes site licensing, dog control work, general noise/pollution complaint investigations planning/ licensing consultations

You will need to be enthusiastic, motivated and diligent. With a large and diverse range of premises and land use types there is a diverse workload. Work will include inspections, dealing with complaints, sampling, projects and appropriate enforcement.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be a great team player. You will need a full UK driving licence and access to a car while at work. Applicants will have a Degree in Environmental Health or equivalent as well as a Certificate of Registration of the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB).
