Responsibilities:
In a sentence, making a difference to our people from top to bottom and delivering a good return on investment. You’ll work out what the best opportunities are but we expect they will include some of the following (over time):
- Design and delivery of development programmes, from management and senior leadership through to early careers (Graduates, Apprentices, Trainees).
- Support production of structured talent management process, including production of competence framework, working with divisions to identify talent, ensuring we are managing talent effectively.
- Working with the HR Team, embed a thorough succession planning process which ensures managers place real emphasis on developing their team.
- Ownership and development of ‘Clear Review’, our continuous performance development tool.
- Identify training and development needs through Clear Review and discussions with managers and the HR Team and create action plans to meet those needs.
- Design and delivery of general toolbox courses, for example recruitment and selection, business writing, presentation skills, appraisal training, mentoring skills and negotiating skills.
- Identify options for online learning for areas such as software, processes/ procedures and mandatory training.
