Job Description

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide support in the assessment of risk and options that will mitigate risk
  • Support individuals and communities in maintaining their independence and seek support and advice when this is challenged
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff
  • Support colleagues in achieving the operational priorities for the team
  • Under supervision, work with internal and external colleagues in providing support to individuals, carers, families, communities and hard to reach groups to build safe, strong and caring social networks

Role Requirements

  • GCSE grade C English and Maths
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to assess needs
  • Ability to recognise problems, identify solutions and negotiate situations
  • An understanding of local authority statutory duties
  • An innovative approach to resolving social care needs
  • Ability to calculate costs of services and care plans
  • Ability to record case and financial information
  • Proficient IT Skills
  • Ability to understand best value principles
  • Understand equalities issues
  • Understand data protection & confidentiality

Additional Information:-

  • The role of Administrator is a 3 month temporary position with a possible extension to start as soon as possible
  • The hourly rate on the role is £10.80
