Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a pro-active fire protection business based in Winchester.  the position will be varied and make use of your transferable skills.  You will be working close with clients - preparing proposals, following up on proposed contracts and working close with the field teams.

The client are an industry leading building fire risk consultancy who have a very large portfolio of clients including commercial, residential, local authorities and private housing providers They have expanded in recent months due to significant growth and are ever evolving their service offerings.

The client is looking for a dynamic individual who has excellent administrative skills, attention to detail and can work with volume to deadlines. The successful candidate will display superb customer communication and organisational skills by both email and phone, as well as an understanding of the sales process. Full role-specific training will be provided. This position will be working at all levels of business, alongside senior members of the management team, within a friendly and open office environment.

The role will ideally suit an individual who has experience of client interaction via telephone, email and hard copy documentation who is looking for a full-time role. The position of General Administrator is to work directly with clients and generate detailed proposals for the company’s fire risk surveys, assisting with proposal documentation for client approval prior to commencement of work, raising orders.  Whilst you will not be generating any leads, negotiation and securing business will be expected. The Proposal Administrator will have good command of the Microsoft Office suite, be flexible, focused, well organised, work well under pressure. This role would benefit candidates that enjoy detailed sales coupled with administration and daily interaction with clients
