Use of bespoke IT Software, which includes Planning Portal, Submit-a-Plan, CMAP, Viewpoint, NBS Contract Administration (software specific training will be provided)
Answering calls, screening and taking messages
Organising tea/coffee/lunches and arranging meetings
Office Housekeeping
Recording information on databases
Administration of incoming/outgoing mail
Arranging rail travel/car hire/hotels
Ordering of stationery
Preparing letters, minutes, reports
Photocopying/scanning
Completing timesheets using Excel
Responsibility for general filing and petty cash
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel Proficient in the use of bespoke IT software systems and a willingness and ability to learn new software A background in the construction industry would be beneficial Accurate keyboard skills Able to deal professionally with visitors and callers to the office A flexible, dynamic approach to work and workload prioritisation in a fast-moving office environment. Communication and general administration skills with exemplary attention to detail Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised and plan workload
