(depending on experience) as well as 20 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays and access to pension scheme (salary and annual leave to be pro-rated based on part time hours).
The role:
You’ll take on a broad range of administrative responsibilities including communication with product providers and clients by telephone, post and email; obtaining product information, entering and maintaining the accuracy of client data, assisting advisers in preparing for and documenting client appointments and financial advice services.
Other responsibilities include:
Mortgage Application Processing
- Liaising with providers, lenders and clients for case progression and case placement as well as with solicitors and conveyancers regarding exchange/completion dates
- Managing review dates for existing clients
- Ensure all necessary documentation is held within the clients file, meeting FCA’s rules and regulations
New Client input into Client Database
- Input Fact Find details into Client Database
- Prepare & send-off authority letters and send to client for signature
- Input details of existing mortgages and protection once received from adviser
- Scan all documents/emails provided by Adviser into Client Database
- Add Activity entries/workflows
Adviser/Client/Provider Requests
- Obtain illustrations, application forms, Key Feature Documents and other relevant supporting documentation
New Business Submission
- Submit new business to provider or submit applications on line
- Enter details of case into Client Database
- Track new business and current position, updating Adviser accordingly
- Ensure all new business has been checked and been signed off (if required)

Essential criteria:
- Previous experience of mortgage administration
- Excellent organisational skills
- The ability to develop rapport with the staff, existing and potential clients, in person and on the telephone
- Attention to detail and an appreciation of the importance of data accuracy
- Sound IT skills and a working knowledge of MS Word/Excel
Desirable (but not essential) criteria:
- Experience using Intellifo / Intelligent Office back office systems
- CeMAP qualification (or equivalent)
