In this role, we’ll look to you to help process invoices for capital spend related to property construction. You’ll need to be organized and driven, as well as being able to communicate effectively with a range of key partners across the business. What you’ll do:
support with processing supplier invoices for all property construction related payments
manage large value supplier accounts, reconciling their statements and chasing down approvals for invoices that require payment
handle journals associated with cost transfers
take responsibility for chasing teams or individuals across the business for project information so you can raise orders and release funds to suppliers
deal with lots of different partners internally and externally including; business managers, project managers, quantity surveyors and suppliers
make sure that financial governance is maintained in all transactions
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
some previous finance experience; you’re comfortable working with numbers and figures a high level of accuracy and attention to detail great organizational skills with the ability to priorities your workload the ability to confidently communicate with a range of key partners and suppliers strong team-working skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills (you can use VLOOKUPS) previous accounts payable experience would be beneficial in this role, as would experience of using CEDAR or SharePoint, but these are not essential
