You will provide general administrative support to ensure the effective and efficient running of research being undertaken by Dr Jo Taylor, in particular supporting research about de-prescribing (stopping) inappropriate medications in hospital settings.
The role will include organising internal and external meeting, preparing documentation and responding to enquiries from academic staff, clinicians and other partners including patient and carer participants of research. You will develop and maintain administrative systems to support the research, and help to maintain project budgets and websites. The role will also involve preparing research reports and communications.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will have a thorough knowledge of administrative procedures and processes used in a busy office within a large complex organisation. You will have excellent IT and word processing skills, with experience of using databases and spread sheets, and of analysing data and presenting summary information in a clear and concise format. You will possess first-rate communication skills, excellent attention to detail and have the ability to work independently and as part of larger team.
