This post will provide full secretarial and administrative support to the Consultant and their medical and nursing team. This post will also include line management responsibility for a small team of administration staff.
As an experienced personal assistant you should possess excellent organisational skills and be used to working with senior colleagues in a complex, busy environment. In addition, you will be required to arrange, attend meetings and minute take.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is a familiarity and expertise in using Microsoft IT packages. You must also have the knowledge and ability to use PAS and Epro aswell as well as being a proficient audio/copy typist.
You must have experience and expertise in diary management, with excellent IT skills and a professional telephone manner. You will need to be able to demonstrate exceptional skills in customer care, and in particular, ensure all matters relating to your work are dealt with in a sensitive and timely manner. You must be able to adapt and prioritise your workload and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
