Job Description

You will be responsible for processing client payrolls weekly and monthly and being a first point of contact for clients. Previous experience working in payroll within accountancy practice required.

Responsibilities 

  • Processing client payrolls end to end
  • First point of contact for client queries and resolving any Payroll queries
  • Issuing payslips and P45’s
  • Completing general administrative duties to assist the Payroll team
  • Calculating statutory sick pay, statutory maternity-pay and CIS calculations
  • Ideally possess knowledge of furlough payments
  • Holiday pay calculations
  • Processing year end

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A minimum of 1 year’s payroll experience within an accountancy practice Able to meet deadlines Confident being a point of contact for a varied client base
