Job Description
You will be responsible for processing client payrolls weekly and monthly and being a first point of contact for clients. Previous experience working in payroll within accountancy practice required.
Responsibilities
- Processing client payrolls end to end
- First point of contact for client queries and resolving any Payroll queries
- Issuing payslips and P45’s
- Completing general administrative duties to assist the Payroll team
- Calculating statutory sick pay, statutory maternity-pay and CIS calculations
- Ideally possess knowledge of furlough payments
- Holiday pay calculations
- Processing year end
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A minimum of 1 year’s payroll experience within an accountancy practice Able to meet deadlines Confident being a point of contact for a varied client base
