Job Description

Key tasks will include:

  • Any admin for the Payroll Services team including monthly filing
  • Answering the telephone and assisting where possible or directing calls to other team members
  • Resetting of password access for employees
  • Issuing of P45s on a monthly basis
  • Assist with the resolution of any payroll related queries for UK Group Companies and employees, and reacting to urgent cases
  • Liaise with other divisions and HR department to collate all relevant payroll data for input on a monthly basis
  • Assist with the production of monthly payroll for UK Group Companies on a timely and accurate basis
  • Accurate entry of data into the payroll system under instruction
  • Liaising with HR on any pay related issues
  • General Ad hoc finance functions and reporting
  • To undertake other reasonable responsibilities and projects as instructed by their line manager.

 


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Suitable candidates will have previous experience within an administrative role and have a desire to learn all aspects of payroll undertaking necessary training with the potential to gain recognised qualifications in Payroll. You will also be highly numerate and have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy combined within good communication skills. Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel is also essential.
