Due to expansion we are currently looking for a Senior Bookkeeper, who is AAT qualified or part qualified (minimum Level 3) and has experience working in an accounting practice environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step up in their career and take on responsibility for the specific areas of client bookkeeping, payroll and VAT returns.
You will be able to work independently, whilst also providing advice to other members of the team.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong, all-round current/recent bookkeeping experience using Xero, Sage and Quickbooks. Current/recent experience of processing payroll using Sage Payroll or Brightpay. VAT return preparation / EC Sales Lists/P11ds. Good knowledge of CIS both from a contractor and sub-contractor point of view. Comfortable with a variety of computer packages, to include Microsoft Office, Outlook and Xero. Excellent organisational skills. Excellent communication skills.
