Job Description

Due to continued expansion and success they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Practice Accountant to join them in this role that has excellent opportunities for advancement.

The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, post qualification, working within a busy Practice environment.

Duties Include:

• Preparation/ finalisation of audit and audit exempt financial statements for limited companies and Sole Traders
• Supervising, delegating and reviewing work of team
• Some Tax and Company Secretarial
• Delivering information and communicating with clients in a timely and effective manner
• Assisting the Partners on ad-hoc project work
• Meeting with and dealing with clients

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ACA/ACCA / CPA qualified Minimum 3 Years PQE in a busy Small to Medium Audit and Accountancy Practice environment essential Ability to multitask and prioritise a number of jobs, whilst demonstrating excellent time management skills to ensure all deadlines and expectations are met Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail Good experience using a variety of accounting software, including cloud-based platforms such as Sage, and Xero.Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
