The successful candidate will be part of a busy accounts team, but responsible for looking after their own portfolio of clients, typical duties would include:
Administering Accounts Payable and Receivable
Account/Bank reconciliations
Completing general ledger operations
Preparing journal entries
VAT returns
Reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts
Preparing financial reports and tax returns
Processing expenses
Assisting with year end
Other duties in line with experience
This role will initially be a mix of both remote and office based training, but will be office based once Covid-19 restrictions are eased

Previous experience of working in a similar role within an Accountancy Practice environment Actively studying towards achieving a professional qualification, such as AAT/ACCA Flexible attitude with a willingness to learn and develop Confident communicator IT Literate, ideally with experience of Xero, Excel and TaxCalc
