Job Description

This individual will join a stable finance team to deliver a high standard of financial planning and analysis to support effective decision-making and drive business performance. They will provide financial support to assist in enabling the shaping of business strategies, facilitating the budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Maximise the accuracy of the cost, WiP valuation and forecasting
• Develop understanding of the different cost profiles for different jobs in order to maximise profitability
• Analyse labour productivity and cost effectiveness of different options
• Develop and produce reports and analysis to drive profit improvement
• Investigate variances and margin erosion
• Challenge the status quo and assist to drive optimal business performance by highlighting areas of improvement.
• Support the development of efficient internal processes by leveraging business data to offer fresh insights and aid decision making.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

2 years’ experience within a Finance Business Partnering or Similar Role Newly Qualified finance professional (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Advanced System Skills: MS Excel, Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge situations to drive change Strong team working and collaboration skills
