Job Description

Key Areas of responsibility:

  • Downloading orders from various customer portals and translating demands into picking schedules, communicating this info to Warehouse team
  • Booking in PO receipts for purchased items or services relating to stock
  • Reporting stock levels, highlighting any discrepancies or mislabels
  • Accurately carrying out transactions on relevant software or customer portals when necessary
  • Regular perpetual cycle counting and investigation of discrepancies
  • Generating paperwork for items being sent out either as a sale or to go out for external operations
  • Operating a filing system as back up for transactions
  • Other admin tasks relating to stocks and control including resolving booking issues, incorrect paperwork etc

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Minimum of 2 years’ experience actively working in as an administrator. NH Client (ICScan on scan guns), SAGE, Microsoft Office i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, Darwin, Customer portals i.e. Toyota, Supplier Portals i.e. CHEP, GEFCO (Training will be provided for those with data inputting skills). Communication skills at all levels including external suppliers and customers Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate with colleagues both up and down the scale. Good organization skills to manage paperwork/files. Good attendance and time-keeping. Pro-Active. Good attendance and timekeeping. Able to communicate at all levels (operators/section leaders & managers). Embraces change, always looking for a better way.
