Job Description

The main goal of this role is to provide an efficient administration service to support the Customer Service Team in ensuring that all customer requirements are delivered in a professional and timely manner and that the department maintains an excellent reputation for customer care.

What will I be doing as a Customer Service Administrator?

  • Handle incoming calls from customers, internal sales team and suppliers ensuring that the appropriate responses are given
  • Process and input customer orders in accordance with delivery schedules and carrier cut off times
  • Generation of order acknowledgements and confirmation by fax
  • Liaison with internal departments and external carrier companies
  • Liaison with customers on availability of goods, delivery times, prices, promotions and special delivery requirements
  • Resolution of invoice discrepancies within agreed target
  • Generation/processing of credits/debits and goods return notes
  • Preparation and completion of daily documentation

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Possess prior experience in customer service. Have strong administration skills. Possess high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of processing customer orders will be beneficial. Be a strong team player.
