Duties Include:
Preparation of Group Companies and divisional / department profit or loss accounts, balance sheet and other financial performance reports, providing narrative on the financial performance of the Group Companies, highlighting significant deviations from budget or prior year
Balance sheet account reconciliations, investigating any anomalies and suggesting / taking corrective action where needed
Production of annual budget forecasts
External stakeholder performance reporting obligations
Completing statutory obligations such as Intrastat and National Statistics returns
Annual audit and production of the Companies' statutory accounts provide supporting schedules and liaise with external auditors
Completion of the annual Corporation Tax submission
Scoping and implementation of new accounting system
Establishing and improving accounting processes, procedures and procurement manual for use by the Finance Team and budget holders using best practice and continuous improvement methodology
Any other reasonable financial tasks as requested
