What we're looking for
· We have a great opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in IT and willingness to learn to join our IT team as an IT Admin Assistant. You will play an integral role in supporting a multi-channel business, dealing with queries from both our stores and support office (SO).
· You will answer calls and log them to our IT helpdesk support portal and work closely with a variety of departments to ensure optimum IT efficiency, while helping to improve current systems and processes.
What you'll be doing
· Providing first line IT support to multi-channels, including Retail and SO teams
· Receiving and logging all IT queries for the business
· Prioritizing all requests and incidences reported, highlighting queries that require escalation
· Assisting the IT Support Engineer with desktop support, troubleshooting desktop hardware and software problems
· Documenting and supporting the repairs and project activities using a helpdesk ticketing system
· Creating end user guides for the business and maintaining documentation with incremental updates and process changes
· Supporting the wider IT team with ongoing project work, participating in meetings and putting forward ideas and solutions
