As Warehouse & Transport Administrator you will be responsible for the daily operational and administrative activities related to the warehouse and transport of our customer. This requires a clear understanding of the processes and an organised approach to daily/weekly tasks.
Main duties:
Developing and maintaining a successful relationship with customers, colleagues and third parties.
Updating data in the system SAP, WMS & our Client’s internal system.
Managing inbound and outbound transport information and maintaining contacts with internal logistic departments and partners.
Creating and following up on transport orders in our TMS system.
Scheduling jobs.
Liaising with Warehouse on a daily basis.
Meet & greet Clients and Colleagues from other offices.
Checking and following up on the required documentation.
Supporting your colleagues where necessary.
Reporting to management and the customer.
Data gathering and concise presentation of the insight.
Invoicing and accounts support where necessary.
Weekend work required to suit business ad-hoc.
Processing Delivery notes and allocating jobs.
Other ad-hoc duties allocated by management.
Key qualities:
Are educated to a minimum of A level, preferably in Logistics but not essential.
Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.
Possess excellent communication- and organizational skills.
Possess strong customer service skills.
Possess strong administrative skills.
Work with several Customer accounts and manage appropriately.
Hands-on-mentality.
Driver with own vehicle - due to site location.
Assertive manner to make own decisions daily.
Have a Can-do approach.
Have Analytical and problem-solving ability.
Are Eager to learn.
