Job Description

You will be reporting into the Group Financial Controller and your main purpose of the role is to provide the financial accounting and control support to the Group Financial Controller and wider team
The role will encompass the following:
• Year end Audit
• Statutory accounts
• Financial Statements
• Preparing & posting all monthly journals to final TB stage
• Monthly TB review pre and post month end close.
• Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Fixed Asset register management including depreciation and capital allowances calculations.
• Monthly accrual and prepayment accounting
• VAT accounting

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will need to be finalist / newly qualified ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent and be able to demonstrate a good technical understanding coupled with previous experience of how you have identified process improvement. It could be suitable for a first step from practise or someone with industry experience
