Job Description

You will be working alongside the company directors, the Finance Director will be responsible for company finances. The role has responsibility and control for financial aspects of company strategy.

Duties

• Provide leadership to the company’s finance and accounting strategy, to optimise the company’s financial performance and strategic position;
• Control the company’s accounting function;
• Contribute to the development of company strategy, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate, and providing financial analysis and guidance on activities, plans, targets and business drivers;
• To effectively manage the performance of the accounts team by carrying out reviews and ensuring objectives are cascaded throughout the department;
• Work with senior teams to grow the business, formulating strategies and plans;
• Oversee, review and adhere to the budgets for each business department;
• To ensure the accurate and timely preparation of management accounts;
• Any other reasonable duties assigned by management.
