This long established, reputable practice is currently looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Accounts / Audit Manager to complement their Senior Management team. Reporting directly to the Partners, the business offers a professional, friendly, supportive working environment and the role offers a challenging yet rewarding brief.

This position will suit an ambitious candidate with exceptional drive, customer focus and an adept ability to offer the best financial advice and business consultancy to clients in order to maximise their business potential. Candidates will be able to demonstrate sound staff management and development skills and have an approachable, amiable manner that both staff and clients warm to. Capable of performing under pressure, you will also be responsible for representing the firm in business development opportunities, constantly expanding the customer base and cross selling services.

As an ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant you will be trusted to complete the work to the best professional standards and to deadline. You will also have superb technical skills in accounting, audit, tax and VAT that set the example to your team and have the ability to manage a diverse client portfolio offering the best business advisory, tax planning and audit services on a proactive basis.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Candidates must be ACA or ACCA qualified with 5+ years PQE and you will already have a strong track record of achievement as an Accountant / Accounts Manager in a practice environment both from a technical and staff management perspective.
