Job Description

Reporting to an impressive and progressive Financial Controller, your core duties will include;

• Consolidation of monthly management accounts for external reporting
• Operational management responsibility for 4 members of the Finance team ensuring all support and development needs are met for each member
• Responsible for production of quarterly audit file throughout financial year in preparation for statutory audit
• To provide assistance with the implementation of accounting procedures and controls
• Production of monthly commercial analysis for operational parts of the business as specified by leaders & Financial Controller
• To provide support to the Financial Controller in the production of group budget and reforecast analysis
• To support the Financial Controller with treasury management on a weekly/monthly basis
• To support the development of accounting software application and management reporting facility
• To support the design and development of any internal software initiatives

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years PQE in a Finance Manager role or similar Good knowledge, understanding and experience of Financial Services sector Experience of direct line management of teams Experience of working in practice (Desirable) Experience of accounting procedures and controls around monthly management accounts processes Advanced Microsoft office skills especially excel.
