Your new role
As a Semi Senior for this firm, you will be required to work with a range of sole traders, limited companies and partnerships from a range of industries such as agriculture, construction, retail and charities to name but a few and who's turnovers range up to the multi million pound mark. Your role will be to ensure all necessary documentation is provided by the client in order to prepare the statutory accounts from scratch. This role will see you prepare VAT returns and submit them to HMRC as well as assist in the preparation of the corporation tax for the clients.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

In order to undertake this role you must have had experience working for at least a year in a firm of accountants in a similar role. You should be up to date with the legislation in regards to VAT and Corporation tax in the UK and will be able to produce statutory accounts relatively autonomously. Good communication skills are essential in this role as you will be required to liaise with both colleagues and clients alike on a daily basis.
