Key responsibilities include:
Reporting into the management accountant and working closely with the rest of the finance team , key responsibilities include:
* Production of monthly management accounts and period end close
* Maintenance of detailed and accurate costs for the product range
* Attend stock counts and produce period stock valuations
* Produce and develop sales price variance analysis and gross margin reporting
* Provide timely and accurate financial information to the business
* Production of bi annual budgets , sales period forecast information and the year end audit

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you must be working towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA /ACCA) or equivalent or already be a qualified accountant * Knowledge and confidence of working with multiple IT systems would be ideal current systems include MS Office, Power BI and E8 as well as Excel and a bespoke ERP system * Experience of working within manufacturing would be ideal but not essential, * You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate financial information to non-finance based people. * You will be able to work as part of a team as independently with minimal supervision and work in both an office and factory environment with ease
