Job Description

You will be responsible for managing a team, supporting, developing and training staff whilst working on the production of payrolls yourself and acting as point of escalation.

Key duties will involve end to end payroll production for numerous sites, importing hours from sites, check all the figures are correct and the correct Tax and National Insurance is being deducted, finalise payroll send bacs, calculate various elements of pay such as SMP, SSP, SMP and RTI, process all starters and leavers, expenses, liaise with Inland Revenue to ensure all PAYE payments correct and timely, complete payroll Year End and pension management / auto enrolment.

This is a fast paced, deadline driven role that will provide a great challenge with huge variety. Candidates must have excellent payroll knowledge with the experience of managing and mentoring staff. Good Excel and system skills are essential.
