Job Description

The main objectives and challenges of the role are outlined below:

• Working with the board on strategy towards continued profitable growth and operation of the company
• Partner with the Managing Director to manage 3rd party relationships with advisors including banks, insurers and legal representatives
• Design and execute an improved MI pack to be developed in line with the board and key stakeholders
• Attend monthly board meetings to present key findings and strategy matters
• Ensuring the finance team is proactive and on hand to support the business during a period of significant growth and change
• Work closely with non-finance budget holders and stakeholders to challenge assumptions, drive performance and maximise profit
• Managing the statutory year end accounts and management of the audit

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified Accountant with significant experience in financial leadership roles Must have experience within a fast paced, high volume environment Strong experience within businesses in the £30m - £100m turnover range Preferably experienced within an owner managed business environment
