Job Description

This is a newly created role, due to business growth and the successful candidate will be required to provide extensive support across all areas of transactional finance within a brand new arm to the business. Therefore, our client is looking for someone with a wealth of experience who can not only assist in the accounts and payroll preparation, but bring fresh, new ideas and help implement processes and procedures.
Duties of the Accounts & Payroll Assistant will include:
*Processing purchase ledger invoices
*Preparing and processing payment runs
*Dealing with suppliers
*Bank reconciliations
*Chasing outstanding payments via email and telephone
*Raising sales ledger invoices
*Cash allocation
*Processing the end to end weekly payroll for c20 employees
*Dealing with invoice and payment queries
*Liaising with factory staff
*Helping implement new processes and procedures
*Assisting with month end preparation


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
*At least 3 years experience working within a finance environment *Good systems skills including Microsoft Excel *Excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise with individuals at varying levels internal/external *Ability to work well towards strict deadlines
