Our company is currently recruiting for an office based administrator to help organise the day to day running of the business.
The Company Installs, Maintains and Commissions Electrical and Security systems in commercial premises throughout the North East, predominantly in the education sector.
The successful candidate will be based in the recently built company’s office.
You will be invited to join the team during the early stages of an exciting expansion process to learn how the company currently operates and what will be expected for the business in the future.
You must be comfortable to be looked upon as an important member of the team, spending a lot of the day communicating with colleagues and clients, but also having the motivation and initiative to be able to work alone, prioritising tasks as required.
You must be computer literate and have a very good understanding of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel; using these programmes along with others for communication, organising of systems, quoting and invoicing for work.
We would like you to have a minimum 3 year's experience working in office administration, experience of the Construction Industry and/or dealing with schools would also be useful.
Day to day tasks will include…
·Planning and maintaining a company diary for a number of operatives.
·Replying to emails in a timely manner.
·Digitally filing Report forms, Quotes and Invoices.
·Sending Invoices and chasing up outstanding payments.
·Creating and maintaining Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets to aid with the running of Maintenance contracts.
·Answering phone calls and emails.
·Typing up written notes for proposals and tender documents
Due to the nature of the business, successful applicant will be CRB/DBS checked and Security Screened.
The successful applicant will work 37 hours per week (full time) with opportunities for flexible working.
Holidays negotiable.
