As part of the Group Internal Audit team, your key responsibilities include:
Protecting the assets, company reputation and resilience of the firm through on-going high quality audits.
Providing assurance, effectiveness and efficiency of control within financial risk portfolio
Supporting the Chief Internal Auditor on team tasks including; annual audits, integrated assurance, Audit and Risk Committee reporting and developing audit quality.
Reporting on findings and strategically negotiating action plans to address identified change, business, operational and control risks.
Look to continuously improve the firms Internal Audit process through quality assurance
Regularly promote good IA practices
Develop strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must hold a recognised professional qualification e.g. CIA, CPA, ACA or possibly CFA Financial Services experience - required Insurance or Asset Management experience preferable Experience of auditing a challenging portfolio of financial risk products Experience working in challenging but rewarding environments Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
