Job Description

As part of the Group Internal Audit team, your key responsibilities include:

  • Protecting the assets, company reputation and resilience of the firm through on-going high quality audits.
  • Providing assurance, effectiveness and efficiency of control within financial risk portfolio
  • Supporting the Chief Internal Auditor on team tasks including; annual audits, integrated assurance, Audit and Risk Committee reporting and developing audit quality.
  • Reporting on findings and strategically negotiating action plans to address identified change, business, operational and control risks.
  • Look to continuously improve the firms Internal Audit process through quality assurance
  • Regularly promote good IA practices
  • Develop strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must hold a recognised professional qualification e.g. CIA, CPA, ACA or possibly CFA Financial Services experience - required Insurance or Asset Management experience preferable Experience of auditing a challenging portfolio of financial risk products Experience working in challenging but rewarding environments Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
