Job Description

What you need to have done?

80% of your role will be the day to day of accountant and running 10+ bank accounts and the finances of multiple Ltd companies BUT 20% will be adhoc duties diverse tasks where needed to do with other properties and businesses in the portfolio

  • It is a small team and a small business with good reach so SME Accountant / Bookkeeper and a strong accounting technician is required. 
  • We are not looking for someone who has been part of a corporate wheel or who is a full qualified management accountant. 
  • ACCOUNTS - You will be an experienced accounting technician.  
  • Payroll - you will do your own teams payroll for this small business but also organise and direct a bureau to manage the business portfolio payroll
  • BONUS experience would be an understanding of the property sector (but not essential)
  • You must have looked after multiple bank account and multiple business

YOU - The candidate : Accounts Technician, part qual or bookkeeper. 

  • Organisation - we are looking for someone to own this from top to bottom
  • You will have worked in (ideally) an owner lead business
  • You will be able to generate the required financial information quickly and report directly to the managing Director/Owner
  • Common sense, think for yourself and be pro active
  • No task can be too big or too small for you and you will be able to get stuck in where necessary, at an time!
  • Flexibility in attitude and work scenario - Home based from time to time and covid dependent.
