Job Description

Role

• As Management Accountant, you will work closely with the Senior Management team and the supporting finance function
• The Management Accountant will assume responsibility for the production of full monthly management accounts including cashflow, budgeting, forecasting and P&L analysis to Group
• You will contribute to the continuous development of business strategy and overall financial planning across all areas of the business
• You will want to challenge decision-making as appropriate whilst providing useful MI/financial information and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
• You will prepare the statutory accounts process where required
• Work in close conjunction with external tax advisors
• Ensure that other back office systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth

Salary will be between £40,000 - £45,000 p/a plus benefits.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You must be a qualified accountant (ICAS/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with at least 5 years experience You will be commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic with strong operational skills Hands of accounts preparation experience is desirable coupled with evidence of strong attention to detail and improving processes Ability to handle pressure and critical decision-making
